After 18 years of creating online content, I know the impact the right words can have. I once changed a handful of words that helped save an organisation nearly a million pounds.

Most recently, I was a content designer at HubSpot and Nationwide Building Society. Before that, I worked on all types of online content – from social media to SEO – for the Met Office, Mars and more.

Now, I want to use everything I’ve learnt to help purpose-driven companies create content that grows their impact. I believe it’s possible to create truly good online content that works for people, planet, and sustainable growth. But it needs to be created with purpose.

Start with purpose

Most brands are only skin deep and their content is one dimensional. When you create content with your purpose and values in mind, your message is more authentic, more powerful and more effective.

The whole is greater than the parts

Like nature, your content exists as part of an interconnected ecosystem. Every part matters. Every piece of content has an important role to play, from your customer service responses to on-pack instructions.

When you create the right content, more isn’t more.
